Location Check collects the data you explicitly provide: your name and email address when creating an account, GPS coordinates of locations you save, location names, notes, and photos you add. We do not collect any data in the background or without your direct action.
Your data is used solely to provide the app's core features: displaying your saved locations on a map, storing your notes and photos, and enabling you to share individual locations with others via links. We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond delivering the service.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties. We do not use analytics services, tracking cookies, advertising networks, or any cross-app tracking technologies.
GPS coordinates are only accessed when you explicitly add a location or use the "locate me" feature. We do not collect location data in the background.
Photos are only accessed when you choose to add them to a saved location. They are stored securely and are never shared without your explicit action.
If you use Sign in with Apple, Apple may provide us with your name and an email address. We use this only to create and identify your account. We will not use your Apple ID email to send marketing messages or share it with third parties.
Sharing a location or folder is always explicitly initiated by you. When you share a link, the recipient can view that location's data. You control what you share.
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Profile screen. Upon deletion, all locations, photos, notes, and account information are permanently removed from our servers within 30 days.
All data is encrypted in transit. We use Supabase for secure data storage.
Location Check is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
